Boss Fight

This is submission to Pwnisher's Boss Fight 3D Animation Challenge in YouTube. The main goal was to create any visuals that shows a theme of David vs Goliath. A specific camera, timing, and character placement restrictions were applied for any individuals who participated to the challenge.

The biggest challenge here was to achieve the right feel of the web and symbiote within a limited time. After a lot of research, I was able to come up with a specific type of curve mechanism which I can just duplicate as many times as I want to achieve dynamic movements. With Maya's sweep mesh tool, the modeling part of it made it easier after the animation process. The majority of the time was spent in Autodesk Maya, environment models from Kitbash3D, and rendered by Arnold. Textures were mixtures of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Substance Painter. Final editing, visual, and sound effects were done in Adobe After Effects.
